First Peak to Creek athletes announced

With less than a month to go to the extreme relay race Peak to Creek, which will take in the Austrian Ötztal from April 28 to May 1, 2012, preparations are running hot for the one-of-a-kind multisports event. The first international athletes to take part in the race, in which participants will compete in nine different disciplines, have now been announced. Among others, Austrian extreme skier Axel Naglich will join the skiing leg of the race, while Charly Markt and Paolo Alberati will face Peak to Creek’s mountain bike course. Austrian ski mountaineering champion Alexander Fasser will compete in the ski mountaineering leg, while Swiss athlete Ron Fischer will take to his kayak for the event.
