Red Bull X-Alps 2011: the adventure begins

It’s only a couple of days until the athletes of Red Bull X-Alps will be faced with the biggest challenge of their lives. On July 17, 2011 the fifth edition of the Alpine hiking and paragliding adventure race starts at Salzburg’s Mozartplatz and takes 30 top athletes all the way to the Mediterranean coast of Monaco – with only a paraglider and a pair of hiking boots to help them. Also starting on race day is the state-of-the-art Live Tracking feature on the official event website, which allows you to follow the athletes’ every move.
