Mathiashof is a care facility to 20 young people with physical or mental disabilities. Set in idyllic Ellmautal near Fuschl am See, Mathiashof provides care through treatment programs tailored to individual needs for the purpose of creating positive outcomes. Through their wide array of activities like carpentry, gardening and animal care, residents at the facility are assigned unique responsibilities that cater perfectly to their needs and help their development.
To aid the growth of some of the Mathiashof residents, zooom has donated two llamas to the care facility. Over the last few years, animals have increasingly been used for therapy work with physically and mentally disabled individuals. The two new additions to the facility will be cared for by the residents and help them progress.
“We’re extremely happy to be able to help organisations such as Mathiashof,” says Ulrich Grill, zooom CEO. “It’s important for us to give something back, and it makes us feel pretty good knowing that we're making positive change in people’s lives."
Visit the Mathiashof website for more information about their cause and how you can get involved.
