10 years ago, zooom’s CEO Ulrich Grill reached out to Red Bull to collaborate on a new and exciting idea. After a great deal of brainstorming and planning, Red Bull Illume was brought to life; the largest action and adventure sports photography contest in the world. What first began as a humble idea, quickly developed into an internationally renowned event and has returned every 3 years since.

Aimed at giving exposure to the adventurers behind the lens, Red Bull Illume has grown from a modest 7000 image submissions in 2007, to an enormous 35,000 in the latest competition. The finalist’s photos have been exhibited across 21 cultural hubs in Europe, the UK, the USA and Canada. In doing so, the project has not only strengthened Red Bull’s brand strategy, but given many of its participants the recognition to boost their careers.

In addition to its conception, zooom is delighted to be the owners, organizers and promoters behind Red Bull Illume. Throughout the contest’s history, we have had the sole responsibility of implementing its PR, project management, marketing and social media campaigns. We have truly put our heart and soul into making Red Bull Illume what it is today. We are immensely proud to have led the way for an entire decade and cannot wait to see what the future has in store. zooom gives Ebner's Waldhof some summer vibes!

Bringing the summer vibes to Fuschl am See's very own Ebner's Waldhof, a traditional family hotel founded in 1958, located amidst the stunning landscape of the Salzkammergut and right on the shores of beautiful Lake Fuschl.

zooom gives Stromer website a fresh new look

Long-time zooom client Stromer is a world renowned manufacturer of e-bikes. The Switzerland based company was founded in 2009 and promotes values of healthy living and freedom of movement.

To give their corporate identity a boost in a way that lives up to their reputation, zooom’s digital team has been hard at work designing a user-friendly website that is simple, yet effective. The minimalistic black and white style offers an intuitive interface that will keep them at the top of their game within the ever-growing and competitive market in which they operate.



The world’s toughest adventure race, fully organized by zooom, starts this week! Red Bull X-Alps’ eighth edition sees 31 athletes from 20 nations hike and fly a straight-line distance of 1,138km from Salzburg to Monaco.

The race kicks off at Salzburg’s famous Mozartplatz at 11:30am on July 2, with the athletes racing towards the Gaisberg for their first take-off, from which they will make their way south towards Slovenia.Since the beginning of Red Bull X-Alps, we have been pulling the strings as the official event organizers.

Besides bringing the spectacle home to millions of fans, we’ve also been busy making exciting sponsor acquisitions: Following their first sponsor spot in 2015, Italian sportswear manufacturer and long-time zooom client SALEWA is once again the official apparel partner of the race.The countdown is on and we are looking forward to an exciting 2017 race! Internationally renowned lens manufacturer Tamron earned its reputation as early as 1957 when it became the first company to develop interchangeable lenses for SLR cameras. Since then, they have been the driving force behind many revolutionary new lenses, including innovative high-power zoom lenses.

To give the brand an extra push in 2017, Tamron appointed zooom for the delivery of their 2017 summer campaign. The brief was to capture a younger audience and communicate the benefits of their megazoom travel lenses.

To achieve these objectives, zooom has been busy with some exciting keyvisuals and creative concepts for numerous media distribution channels. Keep an eye out for the summer campaign and watch Tamron zoom with zooom!
